Human hair extensions mature like your natural dreadlock (can shrink), can be coloured with hair dye, requires more maintenance (compared to synthetic) and is more expensive than synthetic hair.
Can last up to approximately 2 years if cared for properly. Due to bleaching in the manufacturing process eventually the hair will become dry and brittle and the extensions need replacing to look fresh again.
Long human hair extensions are a style that requires constant love and care.

Love Locs has a small collection of Human Hair on hand. Human hair is ordered per project. In person consultation is preferred for a colour match. Amount of hair ordered is dependant on how many extensions are to be made and for how long.
Synthetic Hair Extensions
Love Locs has a small collection of Synthethic Hair on hand for small to half head size projects.
For full head of extensions hair will need to be ordered per project.
To create your perfect match Love Locs will hand blend multiple colours.

Henlon hair is different to the popular Kanekalon hair used in braiding. Henlon hair is one of the softest and straightest synthetic hair on the market.
Synthetic Hair
Synthetic hair does not go through a maturing process (does not shrink), cannot be coloured with hair dye, can be dyed with synthetic fabric dye, requires less maintenance then human hair and comes in a wide variety of vibrant colours without damaging your natural hair.

Dreadlock extensions are added to the bottom of a dreadlock. Dreadlock extensions are not added near the scalp of the head like straight loose hair extensions.

When your natural dreadlock has grown to your desired length, the extension can be cut out. The end of the dreadlock will be brushed out to create a tail or the tail can be crocheted to create a blunt end.
